I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Atharv Sharma, a high school student who generously donated two beautifully crafted sensory walls to our Extensive Support Needs (ESN) classroom. Since their arrival, these sensory walls have had an incredibly positive impact on our students. All of our students are drawn to them and engage with the items regularly.
The sensory experiences provided by these walls help meet their individual sensory needs while promoting learning, focus, and interaction. One student in particular—a kindergartener who previously had difficulty engaging with toys and activities, and often struggled to remain at school for a full day—has shown remarkable improvement. She now interacts with the items on the board, especially the mirror and the sequin patch, and stays engaged throughout the day.
It’s been heartwarming to witness such a transformation. I highly recommend sensory walls like the ones Atharv created for any ESN classroom. They provide a meaningful and inclusive way to support students’ sensory development and engagement in learning.

Dublin High School 1 Wall
We successfully installed our first sensory wall at Dublin High School, expanding our reach to support older students in specialized programs. This milestone marks our continued growth in serving diverse age groups and learning needs.

Amador Elementary
Following our initial installation, we revisited Amador Elementary to make updates and improvements to their sensory wall. These enhancements were based on teacher feedback to ensure the wall continues meeting the needs of their special education students.

The sensory wall has become an invaluable tool for our students at United Nation CDC, OUSD. Students absolutely love it – it’s both engaging and calming, offering them a safe and interactive space to explore and self-regulate. For those who need sensory breaks, the wall provides essential opportunities for them to engage in soothing and focused activities. We are incredibly grateful to Atharv Sharma and Sensory Wall for their vision and dedication in creating this wonderful resource that has made such a positive impact on our school community.

Atharv has build Ocean and Jungle sensory walls for our classroom as part of his Eagle Scout project. My kids thoroughly love it!
He has found this experience so rewarding that he is on a mission to create sensory walls for other students in Dublin and Oakland. I love his dedication and innovation.
